The state-owned company Panstwowe Zaklady Inzynierji (PZInz) in Warsaw was founded to supply the demands of motor vehicles of the armed forces and other authorities. For the main part, Fiat passenger cars and lorries were made under license. Standard passenger car of the Polish armed forces was the Polski-Fiat 508/III. Standard lorry of the 2.5 to 3 tons payload class was the Polski-Fiat 621 L. Only prototypes of most of the own developed vehicles of PZInz were made.
