The Universal Carrier was made in Great Britain by Aveling-Barford, Ford, Sentinel, Thornycroft and Wolseley. In addition, it was manufactured by Ford in Canada, in Australia and in New Zealand. This captured Universal Carrier was used to recover a Henschel type 40 S 2. The vehicle still had the original markings.
