There was a Ford work in Great Britain, too. Passenger cars and lorries were manufactured for the British army besides commercial vehicles. Mainly, such vehicles were captured by the Wehrmacht during the France campaign in 1940, the Balkans campaign in 1941 and the North Africa campaign. Besides that, lorries produced in Canada by Ford and Chevrolet were far common in the armed forces of the Commonwealth. At some times, the vehicles were offered under the brand name Fordson.
