The Opel Blitz 1.5 ton lorry as personnel carrier was quite rare. It is interesting that the Opel, contrary to the competition models of Daimler Benz and Steyr, had the seats parallel facing forward, and therefore the entrance in the rear. It seems that this variant was mainly used by the Kriegsmarine and the Luftwaffe.
