Fross-Büssing

The company A. Fross was located in Vienna. Originally, it was a supplier for railway signalling devices. In 1907, Anton Fross married the daughter of Heinrich Büssing. Fross received the Büssing licence for the Austrian-Hungarian monarchy as marriage portion. Several Büssing types were made but partially with own developed driver's cabs and engine bonnets. In the course of the Schell-Plan, the MAN E  3000 and MAN F 4 / F 5 had to be manufactured under licence beginning in 1940.
