The Anhänger (1 achs.) für Feldfernkabel - one axle trailer for long distance field cable - (Sd. Ah. 25) was used for transportation of four drums of Ff-Kabel, one Verlegewagen - laying trolley - and further equipment. In this image, one can see the Muster I of the Sd. During transport, the wheels of the Verlegewagen were stored under the platform while the frame was fixed on the pedestal. To reel the Ff-Kabel off or in, the cable drum carriage was pulled out backwards. During cable laying, it was not allowed to exceed a top speed of 10 km/h. (Image from D 731/5)

The Anhänger (1 achs.) für Feldfernkabel (Sd. Ah. 25) was based on the Anhängerfahgestell A1 of the Luftwaffe. The Muster II of the Sd. Ah. 25 had a closed superstructure with folding top. On this variant, the wheels of the Verlegewagen were stored on the frontside of the box. (Image from D 731/5)
