ZIS-101

The ZIS-101 was a luxury car provided only for members of the Government and higher leaders of the party. It was based on a license of Cadillac and it was made from 1936 to 1939. There was an ambulance variant besides the four door limousine. This captured vehicle was used by 56. Infanterie Division.

It was propelled by a eight-cylinder engine with a power of 90 HP. There was also a variant as cabriolet - the ZIS-102 - but only a few were made of it.

Note the size of the four-door limousine. There was space for not less than seven seats. The unit sign in form of a diamond could be that of 111. Infanterie Division. The last two photos were made in Losowaja near Kiev which could fit to the presumed unit.
