The Phänomen Fahrradwerke Gustav Hiller AG manufactured its first lorry in 1931. It was the 1.5 ton lorry type Granit 25. The major part of the Phänomen Granit 25 was equipped with closed superstructures used as Kfz. 31 ambulance. About 100 of the Granit 25 were made with platform for the use as light lorries and a few Kübelwagen were manufactured, too. A personnel carrier was made based on the Phänomen Granit 1500 A from 1941 to 1943. Sadly, there are no production numbers available. Most probably only a few were made. Allegedly, they were exclusively used by the Afrika Korps.
