Concluded by the towed 2 cm Flak 30, this vehicle is a leichter Flakkraftwagen - light A.A. motor vehicle - (Kfz. 81). Outwardly, these were hard to differentiate from the Kfz. 69 & Kfz. 70. The photo was made in North Africa.

To improve the readiness for action, the 2cm Flak guns were sometimes mounted ontop of the vehicles. But the chassis of these vehicles might have been overloaded. Such combinations were often seen in use by the Africa-Corps.
