The Protzkraftwagen - limber motor vehicle - (Kfz. 69), abbreviated Protzkw. (Kfz. 69), mit Einheitsfahrgestell II für s. Pkw. - with standard chassis II for heavy passenger car - resp. Einheitsfahrgestell II für s. Pkw. Typ 40 - standard chassis II for heavy passenger car type 40 - was used as towing vehicle for light guns. Outwardly, it is only hardly distinguishable from the Mannsch. Kw. (Kfz. 70). The Kfz. 70 had a crew of six including the driver. Less the estimated 100 kg per man with personal equipment, only 450 kg remained for weapons, ammunition and equipment which did not belong to the operational vehicle.
