The Mercedes-Benz type 170 H (rear engine) was offered as alternative to the conventional constructed Mercedes-Benz type 170 V. Only 2,507 exemplars were made from 1936 to 1939. This model was offered as limousine and cabriolet-limousine – each time with two doors – and as chassis. Therefore, the 170 H remained a rare model. Some vehicles were also used by the Wehrmacht which is proven by the illustrated photo.
