After BMW had taken over the Dixi-works in 1928, the Dixi 3/15 PS was offered as BMW 3/15 PS with minor changes beginning in 1929. Production ended in 1932. Besides the machine gun cars based on Dixi 3/15 PS resp. BMW 3/15 PS, the Reichswehr procured some BMW 3/15 PS with serial car bodies. The illustrated vehicle was an open four seater.
