116 exemplars of the Maschinengewehrkraftwagen (Kfz. 13) – an armoured car armed with a machine gun – were made from 1933 to 1935. The vehicle was based on the Adler 10/50 PS Standard 6. 14 vehicles were based on the Mercedes-Benz 10/50 PS type Stuttgart 260.

The initial series had the wheels of the commercial Adler Standard 6 which can be seen in the first photo. Later, the wheels of the Adler 12N 3G Kübelwagen were used which can be seen in the second photo.

The Maschinengewehrkraftwagen (Kfz. 13) was armed with a MG 13. The illustrated vehicle was later upgraded with a MG 34 and a new gun shield.
