116 exemplars of the Maschinengewehrkraftwagen (Kfz. 13) – an armoured car armed with a machine gun – were made from 1933 to 1935. The vehicle was based on the Adler 10/50 PS Standard 6. 14 vehicles were based on the Mercedes-Benz 10/50 PS type Stuttgart 260.

The initial series had the wheels of the commercial Adler Standard 6 which can be seen on the first photo. Later, the wheels of the Adler 12N 3G Kübelwagen were used which can be seen on the second photo.

 

 

 

 

 

Kfz_13_mit_MG_Schütze

 

 

The Maschinengewehrkraftwagen (Kfz. 13) was armed with a MG 13. The illustrated vehicle was later upgraded with a MG 34 and a new gun shield.

The details of the rear of the vehicle - for example the position of the spare wheel - are clearly visible on this photo.
