Établissements Laffly

 

 

 

 

 

The company Établissements LAFFLY, Asnières (Seine) was founded in 1858. Lorries from 1.5 tons to 16 tons payload were manufactured. In the 1930s, Laffly made itself a name by the development of special rough-terrain vehicles. Different types were manufactured for the French army and were partially taken over by the Wehrmacht, later. Besides Laffly, Licorne and Hotchkiss were involved in procuction. In 1940, Hotchkiss finally took over Laffly.
