225 exemplars of the artillery tractor Laffly S 35 T were made from 1937 to late June 1940. The vehicle was used as towing vehicle for heavy artillery guns of the 10 ton class by the French army.
The Laffly S 35 T was propelled by a 6.3 litres four-cylinder engine with a power of 100 HP. A payload of 1.2 tons could be carried, too. This captured Laffly S 35 T was used as towing vehicle for a 8,8cm Flak 37.
A large spade was attached to the rear of the vehicle so that the full towing capacity of the cable winch could be used.
