Beginning in 1919, motorcycles were manufactured by Gillet in Herstal. Towards the end of the 1920s, a small three-wheeler passenger car was made. Besides FN and Sarolea, Gillet-Herstal was involved by developing heavy cross-country motorcycles beginning in 1935. Production of these motorcycles continued later in small numbers under German direction.
