The Warmwasseranhänger - warm water trailer - was based on the Anhängerfahrgestell A1 of the Luftwaffe. It seems that it was based on the Kühlmittelwärmewagen. There was a combustion chamber within the the trailer for the heating of the water. With the warm water, the coolant of motor vehicles could be warmed so that the engines could be started under cold weather situations. (Image from D 635/5)
