In the Ht.V.Bl. 1944, 17. Ausgabe, Nr. 568, from 1st September 1944 (O.K.H. (Ch H Rüst u. BdE) from 7th August 1944), the Ersatzfeldwagen 43 was officially introduced as Feldwagen 43 (Hf. 43). With the Nr. 890 of the Ht.V.Bl. 1944 (O.K.H. (Ch H Rüst u. BdE) from 11th November 1944) the designation was corrected to Feldwagen 43 (Hf. 6).
