Despite the missing radiator grille this lorry can be identified as a Dodge of the year of construction 1936 without doubt. Among other things, the dent above in the verge of the radiator grille is typical for Dodge lorries of the year of construction 1936. The vehicle was captured during the west campaign and immediately used by 9. Infanterie Divison. The photo was taken in Cognac in June 1940.

These two Dodge lorries were photographed in Norway in October 1940. The lorry on the right side is a model 1936 (note the radiator grille), the one on the left side is a model 1939.
