The GAZ-AAA was a rare vehicle. It was the three-axled variant of the GAZ-AA with a stronger engine and enlarged payload. This GAZ-AAA had a Wehrmacht number plate and was even equipped with a Notek camouflage headlight.
This GAZ-AAA had found new German users, too. The vehicle had not received German markings yet.
GAZ-AAA with special superstructures were only rarely captured by the Wehrmacht. The ilustrated vehicle was used for the transportation of special equipment for delousing.
