More than 6,500 exemplars of the Leyland Retriever were manufactured for the British army before and during World War II. The vehicle was propelled by a four-cylinder engine with a power of 73 HP.
This Leyland Retriever was also used by a unit of the Wehrmacht. The driver’s cab does not correspond to the series. Most probably it was constructed by the new owners.
