In the year 1930, the Ariel Square Four initially propelled by a 499 ccm four-cylinder engine was presented (4F-31). Starting in 1932 also a model with 599 ccm Motor (4F/6) was offered. The 499 ccm model was ceased in 1933. As of 1936 a model with 995 ccm engine (4G) was offered. The illustrated motorcycle is most probably an Ariel Square Four 4F/6 or 4G.
