In 1937, the redesigned Kadett - the Opel Kadett K38 – went into production. More than 74,000 exemplars were made from 1937 to 1940 and from 1942 to 1943.
There were limousines with two and four doors besides the illustrated cabrio-limousine. It can be differed from the very similar Opel Olympia OL38 by its more simply louvres and its shorter engine bonnet.
