Because the production of the l. gl. Lkw. was stopped in late 1940, alternatives were searched. As replacement for the Funkkraftwagen - radio motor vehicle - (Kfz. 61/1), a series of vehicles with geschlossener Sonderaufbau - closed superstructure - was made based on the Opel Blitz 3.6-36 S.

Most probably, different radio sets were built in according to the usage. Observe the ventilation flap for the transformer set.

A further Funkkraftwagen (Kfz. 61/1) based on an Opel Blitz 3.6-36 S. The vehicle belonged to the Nachrichten Abteilung 38 of the 2. Panzer Division.
