Opel Admiral

The Opel Admiral was manufactured from 1937 to 1939 in altogether 6,404 exemplars. With 3,500 exemplars built, the four door limousine was the most common variant. The illustrated vehicle belonged to Artillerie Regiment (mot) 88 of 18. Panzer Division.

In total 2,314 exemplars of the four door cabriolet were made. The two door limousine, the four door cabrio-limousine and the Hebmüller Pullman-limousine were rare.

Besides the four-door cabriolet, there were also two door cabriolets made by different car body manufacturers.

|
|
|
|
During the war, many Opel Admiral were converted to light lorries. The illustrated open superstructure was used for personnel transport. Some vehicles had a completely closed superstructure. These were used as ambulances and radio cars.
