The NSU 601 OSL was made from 1937 to 1939. Several modifications entered serial production. The Wehrmacht used this type mainly as motorcycle with sidecar.
The right side of a NSU 601 OSL sidecar-motorcycle. The 562 ccm engine had an output of 20 HP. In contrast to many other motorcycles of NSU, the brake drum was attached to the left side of the front wheel in the case of the 601 OSL.
