After the takeover of the Protos GmbH, NAG offered the new six-cylinder models under the brand name NAG-Protos. This NAG-Protos – most probably of the year of construction 1927/28 – was used by the Saxon police. After the integration of the barracked police units into the Wehrmacht, such police personnel carriers were often taken over by the Wehrmacht.
