The BVG (formerly ABOAG) procured 48 three-axle single-decker NAG type KO 9/3a omnibuses from 1929 to 1931. The BVG type designation was NAG E3. At the beginning of war, all except nine were handed over to the Wehrmacht. This NAG E3 was used by 1. JG 51.
