The Krupp omnibuses based on the O/OD 4 N chassis were made with various diesel and petrol engines beginning in 1930 whereby the diesel engines (license Junkers) were offered beginning in 1933. The chassis had a wheelbase of 5,865 mm which was decreased to 4,910 mm (O 4 N) resp. 5,050 mm (OD 4 N) around 1937.

Concluded by the Simplex-rims and the consistent proportions, this Krupp omnibus is most probably based on the O/OD 4 N chassis, too. Such streamline car bodies were offered by several companies. The illustrated vehicle had most probably a car body of the company Westwaggon.
