In 1927, an improved model of the Krupp L 3, which was introduced in 1926, was presented. It differed by the flat radiator grille from the initial model. The L 3 was propelled by a 50 HP, later 55 HP, petrol engine. The vehicle had a high chassis frame. The model with low frame was designated L 3 N. This Krupp L 3 of the Wehrmacht was most probably procured by the Reichswehr. The segment radiator and the special bumper points to this conclusion.
