Beginning in 1937, the Henschel type 30 T complemented the Henschel type 28 T. It had a payload of 3 tons and was propelled by a 70 HP engine. Contrary to the similar but larger Henschel type 40 S it had a shorter engine bonnet, eight wheel bolts and only one stiffening rib in the door.
