The FAUN L 900 was manufactured from 1937 to 1939. A large customer was the Wehrmacht which used them as tank transporters’. This FAUN L 900 D 567 with loaded Panzer 38 (t) Ausf. A belonged to Panzer Abteilung 67 of 3. Leichte Division.

Contrary to the Büssing-NAG 900 tank transporters, the FAUN L 900 had an open driver’s cab with fold-cover. This one is loaded with a Panzer 2 D. A Panzer 1 was loaded on the trailed Sd. Ah. 115.

The armoured units used FAUN L 900 with solid driver’s cabs, too. The illustrated photo was made on 17th March 1940.

This heavy FAUN L 900 with the license number WH-40815 was used by Eisenbahn Pionier Regiment 68.
