The Selbstfahrlafette auf Einheitsfahrgestell II für s. Pkw. mit 2 cm Flak – a self propelled 2 cm A. A. gun – was a special variant of the Luftwaffe. The illustrated vehicle belonged to 1. Bataillon of Flak Regiment 42 (mot. S.). These vehicles were used to protect the 8.8 cm Flak SPG’s on VOMAG chassis against strafers.
