The leichter Messtruppkraftwagen light survey party motor vehicle - (Kfz. 3) based on the Einheitsfahrgestell I für l. Pkw. - standard chassis I for light passenger cars - and Einheitsfahrgestell I für l. Pkw. Typ 40 - standard chassis I for light passenger cars type 40 - could not be differentiated from an l. gl. Pkw. (Kfz. 1), outwardly. The whole survey equipment was stored inside of the vehicle so that no additional mountings for equipment were needed on the outside. (Image from D 600)
