The four trial chassis of the mittlerer geländegängiger Lastkraftwagen mit Einheitsfahrgestell für m. Lkw. were equipped with amphibious superstructures in 1941. Two of these vehicles were equipped with a trench plough and a 40 ton cable winch. The other two vehicles had only the floatable superstructure.
