Most probably in 1937, the St. Blasien based company Schmidt constructed a snow blower based on a chassis of the l. gl. Lkw. The vehicle was designated Versuchsschleuder Nr. 1 - trial blower no. 1 - and was tested by the Generalinspektor für das deutsche Straßenwesen - general inspector of the German road engineering.
