The first trial vehicles of the Mercedes-Benz type LG 2500 were made in 1934. The Wehrmacht did not accept this type. In 1938 and 1939, 155 serial vehicles were made. 150 of these vehicles were delivered to the Greek army. The illustrated vehicle is most probably a captured Greek vehicle.
