12 Pantserwagen M 36 (Lansdverk 181) were made by the Swedish company Landsverk in 1936 which were based on the Mercedes-Benz G 3 a/P chassis. Compared to the German version, the armoured superstructure was widely simplified and the wheels were replaced by solid rubber tyres. The shown Landsverk 181 belonged to a unit of the regular police forces.

In 1938, 14 exemplars of the Pantserwagen M 38 (Landsverk 180) were manufactured of which two were command vehicles. These were based on the Büssing-NAG G 31 P chassis which was improved by the stronger engine of the Büssing-NAG type GS. A large part of these vehicles were captured by the Wehrmacht in 1940. The German designation of these vehicles was Panzerspähwagen L 202 (h).
