Büssing Type III GL

The Büssing type III GL was manufactured from 1924 to 1931. The GL in the type designation stood for pneumatic tyres. The type III was also offered as GE, whereas the GE stood for elastic tyres. The Büssing type III GL had a payload of 3 to 3.5 tons and was propelled by four- and six-cylinder engines from 38 to 72 HP.

The engine bonnet with two rows of louvres points to the C3 six-cylinder engine with a power of 65/72 HP which was fitted to this type beginning in 1928. The illustrated vehicles of the Reichswehr had an additional skirting protection in front of the radiator grille as a part of the military equipment.
