The superstructure of this vehicle corresponds to the pictures of the Fernschreibkraftwagen – telex motor vehicle – (Kfz. 61) and the Verstärkerkraftwagen – amplifier motor vehicle – (Kfz. 61) illustrated in the D 600. It could not be clarified why these variants had such a differing driver’s cab compared to the other variants of the Wehrmacht. The illustrated vehicle had the three tone camouflage finish, which was in use until 1937, and belonged to the fourth platoon of Nachrichtenabteilung 46.
