In totel 2,758 exemplars of the Büssing-NAG G 31 were made from 1931 to 1939. About 2,300 of these vehices were delivered to the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht. The illustrated vehicle is an early production model with solid roof of the driver’s cab.
The Büssing-NAG G 31 was propelled by a 65 HP four-cylinder petrol engine. This vehicle had the open topped standard driver’s cab of the Wehrmacht.
A closed driver’s cab of civilian construction had this Büssing-NAG G 31. Besides others, such vehicles were mainly used by the NSKK and the Reichsbahn. Vehicles like that were also exported.
