BMW R 42

6,502 exemplars of the BMW R 42 were made from 1926 to 1928. The 494 ccm Boxer-engine M 43 had an output of 12 HP at 3,400 RPM. This BMW R 42 with civilian laquer finish was used by a unit of the Reichswehr.
