BMW 309 & BMW 315 (model 1935)

The BMW 309 was made from 1934 to 1936. It was the successor of the BMW 3/20 PS and had a slightly stronger engine. The ventilation louvres of the 1934 model were stamped into the side plates of the engine bonnet. These were stamped into a superimposed plate on the 1935 model.

Contrary to the outwardly identical BMW 315 (model 1935) propelled by a six-cylinder engine, the BMW 309 was propelled by a four-cylinder engine. Besides the illustrated cabriolet-limousine, there was a two door limousine, a touring car, a two door cabriolet and a sports cabriolet of the BMW 309.
