The Wanderer W 23 S Kübelwagen was varied from the commercial Wanderer W 23 passenger car but it had a longer wheelbase. This debased the cross-country mobility. 1,550 Exemplars of the Wanderer W 23 S Kübelwagen were manufactured. In addition, 30 delivery vans and 11 chassis were made of the Wanderer W 23 S. The illustrated vehicle was used by a unit of the Waffen-SS.
