The DKW NZ 350 entered serial production in November 1938. Beginning in 1939, a model made for authorities was offered, which was mainly delivered to the Wehrmacht. The one-cylinder two-stroke engine had a maximum power of 11.5 HP.
The 350 ccm motorcycle DKW NZ 350 was used by the Wehrmacht as medium motorcycle for dispatch riders. More than 45,000 exemplars were made from 1938 to 1943. Beginning in 1941, it was manufactured exclusively for the Wehrmacht.
