The innovator Lucien Rosengart founded his company in the year 1903. At first, only bits and pieces like screws were made. After his involvement at Citroen (1919) and Peugeot (1923), Rosengart manufactured the first own automobile in 1928. This was based on a license of Austin. Later, Rosengart acquired a license from Adler. Above all, the model Supertraction became famous. All in all, output figures remained small.
