The Austin Motor Company was founded in Birmingham by Herbert Austin in 1905. In the 1920s, the company mainly produced small cars. Beside the passenger car program Austin manufactured also lorries. Some of them were taken over by the Wehrmacht in 1940 and some maybe later.
