Contrary to the larger Peugeot 402, the Peugeot 202 had only one louvre in the engine compartments side panel. It was propelled by a 30 HP, four-cylinder engine.
A further characteristic of the Peugeot 202 was the cover of the rear wheel housing which was swung far to the rear.
