1,200 to 1,300 exemplars of the Berliet VDCA were made with different superstructures from September 1939 to June 1940. Most likely, production was kept up for some time under German direction.
The Berliet VDCA had a payload of 3 to 3.5 tons. A noticeable distinctive feature to the larger Berliet VDCN was the bumper.
