The company De forenede Automobilfabrikker A/S (DFA) arose of the merger of the three companies Thrige, Anglo-Dane and JAN in 1918. The new company was concentrated in Odense. The name Triangel was chosen as brand name. From the beginning, lorries and buses were made. The used engines and transmissions were bought from foreign companies.
